In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, a conversation on artificial intelligence and related topics was held.

Addis Ababa University the Computational Science and Engineering Society of Ethiopia (CSESE) hosted its first annual conference in response to this. On November 22nd, 2021, the conference took place. Ethiopia's Artificial Intelligence Institute was also present on stage.

On-going artificial intelligence-based research can be utilized for a better Ethiopian life in all aspects. It was also suggested that computational resources be used as input for AI projects. All involved government sectors were represented on stage, and they all advocated for collaboration to share their data in order to profit from artificial intelligence outputs as a whole.
